On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Jack’s Kids hosted its annual bowling fundraiser at Bowlero Bowling Alley in Greenbrook, bringing together about 200 bowlers, including 28 cherished Jack’s Kids family members. This year marked the first time the event didn’t sell out, yet the energy and spirit in the alley were as vibrant as ever, filled with dancing, singing, and plenty of strikes.
Thanks to the generosity of five dedicated sponsors — Franklin PBA, Millstone Valley Fire, The Norman Family, Cusick Funeral Home, and Denyse Petrone — families had the opportunity to bowl for free, each sponsor contributing $300. Additionally, lane sponsorships at $125 each were proudly supported by Fun at Sea Travel, Network Chiropractic, Pat Kelly-ReMax, Manville PBA, Fred & Karen Ludwig, and Spera Electric Contracting, who contributed $150. Bam Desserts also contributed $75, adding another layer of community generosity to the event.
A highlight of the event was Jake Whitenight, a Jack’s Kids recipient, delivering a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem, a tradition he lovingly upholds year after year. The music and atmosphere were kept lively by DJ Trini, who had everyone on their feet, dancing and celebrating.
Adding to the day’s delights, the very popular Scream Truck stopped by, giving everyone a chance to enjoy a delicious ice cream treat. A percentage of the sales was generously donated back to the organization, further contributing to the fundraiser’s success.
The event’s success extended beyond the lanes, with the Tricky Tray team, led by Jill Reimer and seamlessly supported by Jennifer Krempasky, orchestrating over 70 raffle baskets that raised an impressive $6,000+. Kaitlin and Max added to the excitement with a balloon pop game, offering fantastic prizes that delighted participants.
A special shout-out to Avery and family for continuously collecting raffle items for every event. Not only do they help throughout the year, but they even brought more items on this day to kick-start the next Tricky Tray, showcasing their incredible dedication to the cause.
Volunteers like Karen, Jennifer, Fred, Jill, and the Jack’s Kids trustees exemplified teamwork and dedication, guiding new volunteers and ensuring the event flowed smoothly. Their efforts, combined with the community’s enthusiasm, turned the event into a well-oiled machine of joy and generosity.
Capturing the day’s memorable moments, April Ludwig Photography provided beautiful snapshots of the festivities. You can relive the day by viewing the photos here.
As we look forward to the 15th anniversary of Bowling for Jack’s Kids in March 2026, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated, sponsored, and volunteered. The funds raised continue to make a meaningful impact, helping our beloved families as they bravely face their health challenges.
Thank you for being a part of this special day — your support truly makes a difference!
