We are thrilled to announce the outstanding success of the 13th Annual Bowling for Jack’s Kids Fundraiser, held on Sunday, March 3rd. The event was nothing short of remarkable, with all 48 lanes at Bowlero in Green brook, filled to capacity, boasting a vibrant crowd of supporters, volunteers, and sponsors.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees and supporters, we were able to raise over $13,000, a monumental achievement in our ongoing mission to support families in need. We extend our deepest gratitude to each and every individual who contributed, donated, and volunteered their time to make this event an extraordinary success.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all those who generously donated items for our tricky tray. From the Reimer’s to the Sanchez’s, Moskowitz Family, Barbara Goldblatt, Sue Ghizzone, and a multitude of others, your contributions were instrumental in our fundraising efforts. With over 60 raffle baskets and the popular balloon pop game organized by Kaitlyn Reimer, the event was filled with excitement and anticipation.
This year, we were fortunate to have 16 lane sponsors, including the newest addition, NJ Cyclones, joining our esteemed list of supporters. Special recognition goes to our top Jack’s Kids lane sponsors: Bound Brook PBA, Ellery’s Grill & Pub, and Kelly/Wetter/McCray. Additionally, we express our heartfelt appreciation to loyal sponsors such as Fred & Karen Ludwig, Rizzo Consulting Group, Soup Shoppe, Millstone Valley Fire, and many more, whose unwavering support has been invaluable year after year.
We were honored to welcome eleven Jack’s Kids families to the event, including some attending for the first time. Events like Bowling for Jack’s Kids not only provide crucial financial support but also offer families an opportunity to enjoy quality time together, free of charge.
During the opening ceremony, the Middlesex High School National Honor Society presented a generous donation of $1,000 in honor of Dylan Parisi, demonstrating their dedication to our cause. Additionally, Jake Whitenight’s rendition of the National Anthem set a poignant tone for the event, followed by the joyous first roll by some of our Jack’s Kids.
DJ Triston George kept the energy high throughout the event, while the arrival of the Scream Truck offered delicious ice cream treats for sale, with 15% of proceeds benefiting Jack’s Kids. We also celebrated the birthdays of long-time volunteers Jill Reimer, Meghan Kelly, and Brian McCarthy, expressing our gratitude for their unwavering support.
Finally, we extend our deepest appreciation to all the volunteers whose dedication ensured the smooth running of the event. Your hard work and commitment did not go unnoticed.
With the overwhelming success of this year’s Bowling for Jack’s Kids Fundraiser, we are eager to continue our mission of assisting families in need. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a resounding success!
