Hayley Midland Filippini Lebanon, NJ Hayley Midland Filippini, 18, of Lebanon, NJ, entered the gates of Heaven on December 9, 2016. Hayley passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Hayley was a bright young woman who loved God and shared that love with a smile and special light that was apparent to all with whom she came in contact. Hayley loved being a senior at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in Fergus Falls, MN. Hayley was a member of National Honor Society, Senior Class Treasurer, and played volleyball, cheerleading, and softball. She loved giving all her available time to the things she cared most about: her church, Tuscarora, and many foundations that support children with cancer. She will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her beloved parents LaurieAnn and Anthony Filippini of Lebanon, NJ; her loving brother and sister Matthew and Taylor Filippini of Lebanon, NJ

Hayley was diagnosed with a Pineoblastoma brain tumor at age 12 in February 2011. She received 2 brain surgeries, ovary repositioning surgery. She was inpatient for a year during high dose chemotherapy and stem cell transplant plus 6 weeks of radiation and proton therapy.

Hayley was doing terrific with clear scans and then in August 2013, she relapsed with 5 spots on her spine. Currently going through chemotherapy at CHOP for a year and then transferring to Sloan Kettering in NYC for a type of radiation which includes placing a permanent ommaya reservoir in her head.

Hayley has a very strong faith in God and trusts Him completely for her healing.
